“The Promise of Leadership: Sustaining Learning, Transforming Teaching” is the ASCD's 2013 annual report, which is parallax-based as an animated, interactive journey designed to showcase ASCD’s programs, products, and services.

Created branding for Freya Wellness. Shown here are the logo revisions and mock-ups of what logo could look like on products.
Freya Wellness is spiritually focused and guided with focus on herbs, nutrition and wellness (mind, body, soul). Since I focus on the concept, this design focuses on the name and growth element. The name is framed and center-stage... and I created a BREATHING vibe with the typeface, with a large inhale! Breathing in herbs, nutrition, and wellness.... breathing in a new way of living. The rays symbolize the energy that comes with healthy living and the light that you shine when you feel good from within!
Client: Little Dove Bakery
This logo was fun; I had to be inspired during the creative process so of course that meant tasting many baked goods while at the computer. After various logo variations, we ultimately chose the dove with “LD” in the wing. Again, concept-driven. Another happy client!
Designed a portion of 'Orchids of North America', a traveling exhibit that started at the Smithsonian Botanical Gardens Museum.

Fairlington Preschool combined with another preschool and needed a new logo to reflect this unity. I was tasked with designing a logo that would highlight the original sun from one preschool and the multi-toned hands from the other preschool. Since the school is hands-on play-based learning, this finger-painted logomark seemed like a perfect solution.
Client: MVLE
I was tasked with bringing life to MVLE’s brand and campaign “Working for Purpose” through a branded campaign. Shown here are the top final brand marks, the re-designed folder, and the campaign mailing suite.
For this mark, I continued the tagline “Working With Purpose” to include “Giving With Purpose” so that the donor could feel a part of the MVLE mission. This direction had an emotional appeal... hands working, hands helping, hands giving, hands thanking...
This is a good example of how a background in Marketing/Communications can enhance the design solution.

Client: Unity Preparatory School of Brooklyn
Set the design and overall tone for Unity’s Winter Benefit event, including eBlast Save the Date, direct eBlast invitation, on-site program, sponsorship packet, and fact sheets.
Client: AAAE
Created the logo and look and feel for AAAE’s 2017 conference, which was themed “Experience Innovation, Let’s Go”
The concept “GO” was chosen. The type treatment is full of color and texture... evoking a sense of exploration and new explored heights... adding in the beach element (since the conference took place in San Diego, CA). The thematic words are interwoven into the G and O, mainly encased in the O. The angular and colorful background texture and cloud-like paint splotches were used across marketing pieces, including the Exhibitor and Sponsor Prospectus (shown here).
Client: FUMC
Designed the campaign for the theme “I give with a thankful heart” which included a large mailing, donation cards, and posters throughout the church building.
Client: ASCD
Designed template for ASCD’s Quick Reference Guides (QRGs). These QRGs needed to have a tight grid and flexible layout features so that more QRGs could easily be created. Quite a task to fit as much text into six pages as possible, while making them visually appealing and legible.
Logo branding and event promotional items for ASCD. Taking the logomark to the islands vibe with type treatment, color selection, and even added a custom illustration with a native island bird.
Lead Designer creating snapshots, separated into three categories: west, central and east. To differentiate, each category has a slightly different color scheme. The 50 snapshots are a way to compare states, state-by-state, against national averages of statistics under each of the tenants. 2014.
Client: Various
An assortment of logos that I’ve created over the years. The common denominator is that they all started with a concept.
